This gallery offers a selection of image-text pairings from Stations, providing a glimpse into the larger body of work. These pieces exist in various forms: framed prints, projections, digital installations. Pairings are selected and designed to adapt to the spaces in which they are exhibited. Visitors can explore the ways language and landscape interact, capturing fleeting moments of presence, erasure, and transformation.
Each piece originated as a direct inscription onto the remains of a forest devastated by a tornado. The writing process was both an act of witnessing and a practice of impermanence. A collection of poetry left to fade, decay, and be reabsorbed into the landscape. What remains are these photographic traces, echoing the original act of inscription.
